Treatment

Comprehensive Restoration

Comprehensive treatment addresses the entire masticatory system (ie. muscles, joints, and bite). All too often, dental treatment conforms to the existing patient’s masticatory system regardless of existing pathology.

If there are contributing factors such as malocclusion (a bad bite) or other pathological findings to the patients chief concern, it is often better to treat the cause of the problem prior to addressing the symptoms (the chief concern). That is why we diagnose before we treat.

Minimally Invasive Treatment

Retaining natural teeth as long as possible has distinct advantages. Unlike other tissues in our bodies, dental enamel will not repair or regenerate. Once the enamel is removed via restorative treatment such as crowns its gone forever.

Minimally Invasive treatment is aimed at a more holistic approach which emphasizes preservation of the natural tooth structure.

Orthopedics & Gnathology

Gnathology is the Science that treats the biologics of the masticating mechanisms; that is, the morphology, anatomy, histology, physiology, pathology and the therapeutics of the oral organ, especially the jaws and teeth and the vital relations of the organ to the rest of the body.

Gnathologic Orthopedics utilizes orthopedic means such as dental arch development to facilitate gnathologic principles.
