Invisible Gold
Why use gold if we have White restorative materials? The answer is very simple: gold will outlast any restorative material. It is the only material that will not break, or deteriorate like composite (the white filling material).
Moreover, gold will not corrode or tarnish like silver amalgam (silver filling)
Most importantly, unlike some metals, gold is biologically compatible with your body, thus causing no allergic reactions.
Many situations (like the example above) can be managed without any gold showing at all. Even upon a wide smile, it’s “invisible,” isn’t it ?
